Winter greetings to one and all!
It has been wild and wonderful here at Eagles Rock Retreat lately. We have enjoyed some beautiful dry days and some wet and windy ones too. The sunrises at this time of year are incredible, with the mountains changing colours by the minute. We can not help but take lots of pictures these days.
I have been looking at the darker months of the year with much more positivity this time, understanding the natural rhythm of nature and seeing this season as a time to reflect and to go inward…. and to go to bed early!
Adjusting our yoga practice to suit the season is important. You’ll see our very own Winter Warming yoga sequence below. The detailed images are quite unique. It’s a great resource.
Here is a beautiful poem by Rielke about the essense of darkness, translated by David Whyte.
It really doesn’t get better than this. Read it, then read it again..
On another note,
we have had some exciting events at Eagles Rock Retreat with our favorite teacher Kevin Gardiner from New York teaching a retreat here last weekend.
It was an incredible event with everybody taking away lots of inspiration.
We are hoping to get Kevin back to Ireland next September.

To mention but a few,
there are last 3 spaces for our popular New Year Healthy Start Weekend on the 3rd January.
Also,
we have John McKeown of Loving Oxygen returning to teach a weekend of the Wim Hof method at the end of February.
This is a truly life-changing weekend and so much fun too.
And of course, we have lots of other retreats planned for next year.
Whether you fancy a one day, a weekend or a longer stay, you will find plenty of options to suit.
And last but not least,
and
