Warm summer greetings yoga friends!
We are sure living through interesting times. It has been a while since we last wrote and I must say that the longer this covid situation goes on, the more positive we feel about the time out.
My underlying emotion around the recent restrictions has been one of gratitude. The desire to shop, to eat out, to be places at certain times, to be busy the whole time, just seems to have evaporated.. Instead, we spend more time in the garden, painting, contemplating… and myself and Stuart swim in the sea nearly every day now. The Wim Hof training is paying off!
Like most, we are staying put this summer, which means that we get to explore Ireland a bit more and you will have more summer dates to choose from.
The peace and quiet of Eagles Rock Retreat helps of course and we are grateful to live in a place surrounded by hills, meadows and.. sheep.
Updated summer schedule
Having the online classes as our only contact with our yoga community in the last 3 months,
we are very excited to announce that we are now reopening our retreat centre to guests.
We will be starting on June 28th with a one day retreat, followed by a mid-week one day retreat on the 1st July for those who cannot make the weekends.
We have scheduled two weekend retreats for July. John McKeown returns on the 17th July with his Wim Hof Training. This is a life-changing experience and we recommend it to anybody who wants to feel the benefits of conquering the fear of cold in a fun and friendly atmosphere. For more info please click here

For anyone looking for a longer break in Ireland this summer, we have a week-long Yoga and Hiking Holiday planned for July 31st to the 6th August.

Reducing capacity
We have reduced our capacity for residential events to a maximum of eight guests, while accepting ten guests for non-residential events. This will give each guest greater space and comfort. Of course this also means that events book out faster. Please book yours soon if you are planning to visit us this summer.
Online Classes
It has been our ambition for the last year to put together an online resource to help yoga practitioners develop their home practice. Recent events of course meant that all of a sudden, all yoga had moved online. While winding down the Zoom classes in the next few weeks, we will keep an online resource, which will work on subscription bases. Included will be One Live class per week, lots of online yoga videos for different levels, tutorials and sequences. We should be live within 2 weeks. Please let us know here if you would like to be notified when we go live.

Summer sequence for you
And last but not least, here is a cooling and calming shorter yoga sequence for warm sunny days to keep you in a good place. And as much as the earth needed this rain, I hope we get lots of sunny days yet.
