Dear friends,
We had this newsletter written and ready to go a month ago, only to find ourselves in the strangest times we have ever lived through. Needless to say everything has changed in the last few weeks. As we started to cancel event after event, I couldn’t help but feel as if we have entered some really weird movie…
How are you all doing these days? Some mornings I feel strong in myself and ready to face anything, and other days I feel anxious and fearful of what is yet to come. I start every morning with a meditation while the boys are still asleep. It is my lifeline. I now fully feel that this ‘corona cocoon’ can serve as a great opportunity to face our shadows – the dark parts of ourselves, and that we have a choice to make. We can either keep operating from the ego level, sucked into the collective fear and remain victims of our circumstance, or we can turn off the TV, raise above the fear, start sensing the world from our hearts and guts, get in touch with our creativity and start generating love…
The best way to get back to our true selves and get grounded, is to be out in nature. In spite of our human dramas, the Earth did not stop turning, the daffodils did not stick their heads back in the ground, the birds did not stop their sing-song and the days did not stop getting longer. Walk barefoot, hug a tree, plant some seeds. We feel truly grateful to be surrounded by wilderness. The seeds of all different types of fruit and veg are growing as I write this and we are excited to be more self-sufficient all the time. Potatoes next!
Our – now empty – yoga studio serves as a studio for online classes, and also as my art studio. I finally have time to do a bit of painting, which is something I was always drawn to do but never found the time. Are you using your time in isolation to reconnect to passions that perhaps you did not have the time for in your busy schedule? How is that yoga self-practice going?? There has never been a better time to start (or to deepen) your yoga practice, true?
Reluctant at the start to teach classes by talking to a laptop, we are now thankful for the technology. Online classes enable us to reach out to you, our students from near and far, and to continue spreading the love of yoga in these uncertain times. We have amalgamated Stuart’s yoga studio in Rathmines and Carlingford yoga into one Online Yoga system, using an Irish company called Legit Fit. The schedule of classes this week is below. Please check our Facebook or Instagram for updates. We will have all the details of our online classes on the website too. Oh, and Stuart just added a morning class on Thursday at 7.30 – 8.30am!
We would like to offer you a FREE ONLINE YOGA CLASS of your choice from the schedule. Please get in touch with us and we will send you an invite to sign up.
If you enjoy your class and want to become a regular, it is then easy to manage your classes and bookings. You can book for a single class for €8, 2 classes for €15, or buy an unlimited weekly pass for €22.
On a note of gratitude, we want to give a huge shout out to all you patient human beings, who’s events were postponed, yet you kept your booking deposits with us until later dates. For a small business like ours, whose livelihood has been put on hold, this really means a lot. Thank you!
And last but not least, here is a 30min sequence you can do to feel uplifted and energised this Spring.

Keep positive, eat well, stay healthy and happy – keep raising the vibration!
We shall hopefully see you on your mat soon, in person or on a laptop.
Love,
Martina, Stuart, Oisin and Ferdia
